Intuitive Mindfulness for Precise Physical Fitness
Precise in the Oxford dictionary is described as “marked by exactness and accuracy of expression or detail.”
During my fitness life I’ve learned that to prevent injury one must be precise in their movements, whether running or strength training. I’ve learned this through trial and error. When I push it, I pay for it. Both precise Physical Body exercise postures, and mindful experiences of the Energy Body are realized using this method of fitness.
The STIRLING METHOD takes our focus inward where our intuition guides us. Our thinking mind that might say, “push harder, more repetitions, lift heavier,” is quieted down. The intuitive aspect of our Knowing is what the Energy Body offers. In addition to understanding the value of precise exercise mechanics, participants learn the structure of their Energy Body – a subtle system within and without the physical form. As exercises are performed, mindful connection to the corresponding parts of the Energy Body are experienced.
Being Centered and Mindfulness
The first part of the Energy Body taught is centering. Once the participant knows how to center themselves, intuitive power guides the movement. Being centered is the clearest from of being mindful. When one is energetically centered there can only be mindfulness. Being mindful connects us to our higher intuitive power. In the realm of fitness, preciseness occurs when this intuitive power guides a physical fitness movement.
Being Centered and Mindfully Grounding
The second part of the Energy Body taught is grounding. While remaining centered, participants become mindful of the cord of energy that runs from the body to the centre of the planet. Being solidly grounded to the planet offers a sense of safety, security, confidence, and trustworthiness. Performing certain exercises such as a sumo squat, intuitively strengthens ones grounding.
A Personal Experience of Wholeness
Centering and Grounding are only two of many examples of how the STIRLING METHOD fitness program connects the body, brain, and being for the experience of wholeness. This has been and continues to be my life’s practice. I first handedly experienced healing deep wounds from my childhood through participating in these modalities, fitness – strengthening my physical body, releasing endorphins from my brain, and mindful meditation where by I healed my Energy Body of past traumas and unwanted programming.
It’s not that I never get triggered, I do, even though much less, and I’m an expert at identifying the personal issue quickly and making amends where and when needed. What I DO experience now is joy. Joy is my prominent feeling. This would not have been possible without healing my wounded Energy Body. I did this by sitting in thousands of hours of guided meditation. It was such a struggle for me to sit, and experience. I now enjoy tuning into my grounding, being centered, sensing the energy in my second chakra, while performing exercise moves that encourage the release of blocks and unwanted energy. There is so much power in owning and caring for myself as a Whole Being.
It enhances my joy to know I am bringing this unique experience to others.
