what is the
STIRLING METHOD?
mindful meditation while exercising
the body, brain, being connection
The STIRLING METHOD is a combination of physical exercise/Body, release of endorphins/Brain, and mindful connection to the Energy Body/Being.
Moving the physical body via exercise, thus releasing feel good endorphins in the brain, and aligning body movements with the Energy Body, encapsulates the essence of the STIRLING METHOD and the Body – Brain – Being connection and interplay.
who is the
STIRLING METHOD
for?
The STIRLING METHOD is for folks that want to experience the benefits of mindfully meditating while exercising.
Many people say to me they cannot slow down to meditate. There may be many reasons for this, but I can relate to this statement.
Recently I read: “. . . research also indicates that people suffering with PTSD and anxiety may have difficulty sitting in meditation . . .” (Willoughby Britton PhD).
This piece of information, along with leaning about the physiological benefits of physical fitness for those struggling with mental and emotional health issues, was the catalyst for the STIRLING METHOD.
“The question I asked myself was – Is it possible to consciously learn about and experience the Energy Body while exercising the Physical Body?
YES, is the answer.”
Impact of Mindful Fitness
participants’ comments
organic healing
Participants only experience what they are organically and intuitively ready and able to experience. This has nothing to do with thoughts. In other words if a participant “thinks” they want to release ALL energy blocks at once, this simply will not happen. Energy work cannot be forced.
Physical exercise facilitates experiential connection to the Energy Body as participants are guided to put attention on the Energy Body’s system while moving, as opposed to putting attention on the Energy Body’s system while sitting in meditation.
